Read thread (User Activity)

I have noticed that some threads (could possibly be the threads when I first opened my XF forums which was 2-3 months ago) does not show the 'Who has Read Thread' block. Is there a way to make this work for 'older' threads.

I am trying to figure a way, maybe the Rebuild Cache > Rebuild threads option may work? Would do you think?
OR
Possibly add an option to run a script to check and add? I don't know.

Not a big issue but just want to understand why this is happening and if there is a potential fix.
